Ally & Max hit the Northern Hemisphere
We’d like to congratulate Ally on picking up a new job in her adopted home city of Berlin! She’ll be working as a front-end developer at Edenspiekermann, an agency of enough import to merit a couple of Wikipedia pages. According to Ally, “It’s a great crew, great clients, and a great new office space just around the corner from my apartment in Schöneberg.”
It’s a big opportunity and we wish Ally all the best going forward as an Icelab alum. Luckily for us, she’s still helping us out a little every week as we gradually catch up to her immense Blueprint experience.
Last week we also welcomed Max back to wintry Melbourne after a tour of the USA and Japan with the Dingoes, the Australian men’s ultimate frisbee team. The trip culminated in the 2012 WFDF World Ultimate and Guts Championships in Sakai, Japan. The Dingoes put on an extremely good showing, but sadly went down to Great Britain in tightly fought quarter final. Max is now giving his body a well-deserved rest after the months of heavy training he’s undergone before representing the country.
Are you wondering what ultimate frisbee looks like? Max makes it look spectacular:
