Icelab talks at RubyConf AU 2017

Last month I had the honour of opening the talks at RubyConf AU. I spoke on a topic that’s dear to my heart, about reinvesting in Ruby. If you’ve ever wondered how Ruby can continue to stack up against today’s range of web development platforms, this might be the talk for you:


And to round out the first day, Piotr Solnica showed how Persistence pays off and gave us all a vision of a clean, modern persistence layer for our Ruby apps:
